Re-Establishing the Costanoan Rumsen Ohlone  Presence  in San Francisco

Working in Collaboration with Ohlone Profiles, the Park Presidio Trust, The Costanoan Rumsen tribe have been holding a cycle of ceremonies and many events in San Francisco for the past four years.  The Tribes last two annual Bear Ceremonies have taken place at the Presidio and Candlestick Park.   The Tribe has also participated in the restoration of the El Polin Spring in the Presidio by offering a blessing.

For the past three years the Costanoan Rumsen Tribe has participated in honoring veterans in the annual San Francisco Veterans for Peace Parade.
