SO DO NOT LOOSE
· Check-in: LATEST ARRIVAL TIME IS 8:00pm since we need to give Guest Services the final attendance list. Please make sure everyone knows this, and make plans to arrive by 7:00pm to allow for traffic, parking, and so forth. If check-in has closed when they arrive, go in the entrance and ask the person at info desk to radio Peter on Ch. 10. Please meet at the check-in table just outside the Main Entrance. Our Education staff will have luggage bins for all of your overnight gear. We will not revisit your gear until bedtime, so please keep out items you might need, such as a jacket, water bottle, and money for the gift store. Smaller bins will also be provided at the meeting time to store items purchased at the gift store and stored in a safe area until bedtime.
What to Bring
•All overnight guests must bring something comfortable to sleep in. A T-shirt, pair of sweats and sweatshirt will work just fine. Warm clothes are encouraged!
•You will be sleeping on a floor in the Northern, Southern California, or Tropical gallery. Please remember to bring what you plan to sleep on and sleep with for the night. A warm sleeping bag and/or blankets, and pillow will be needed. You may bring a therma-rest, egg foam mattress, or small inflatable mattress for your comfort. Please bring only what you can carry safely without assistance!
•Please note: Once the lights for bedtime turn off, you will not be able to see into the exhibits.
•Don’t forget your toothbrush and any other essentials to prepare for bed and to help you get ready in the morning. Sorry, no showers are available.
•Drinks are only served at dinner and breakfast. It is a good idea to bring a reusable water bottle, to refill during the night.
